TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ABOUT THE SERVICE

Expand Gaming (expand.gg) is an online platform operated by an individual auto-entrepreneur based in France, providing on-demand game server hosting. The service is currently in private beta — access is limited to invited users.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 16 years old to use Expand Gaming. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent where required by applicable law.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

You are required to create an account to use the service. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately at support@expand.gg if you suspect unauthorised access

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use Expand Gaming to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Host content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing on third-party rights
• Distribute malware, cheats, or exploits targeting other players or services
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' servers
• Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its performance

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, without prior notice.

5. BILLING AND CREDITS

Expand Gaming operates on a prepaid credit system:

• Credits are purchased in advance and consumed based on actual server usage (hours played)
• One hour of credits is deducted at server start; billing continues hourly while the server is running
• Unused credits do not expire
• Credits are non-refundable once consumed
• Prices are displayed in EUR and are inclusive of applicable VAT
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active users

6. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We strive to maintain reliable uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We are not liable for any loss resulting from planned maintenance, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

7. GAME CONTENT

Expand Gaming provides infrastructure to run third-party games. We do not own the intellectual property of the games available on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of game content complies with the respective game publishers' terms of service and end-user licence agreements (EULAs).

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All original content on expand.gg — including the brand, design, interface, and copy — is the property of Expand Gaming and may not be reproduced without written permission. User-generated content (e.g. server configurations, world saves) remains your property.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by French law, Expand Gaming shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@expand.gg to resolve the matter amicably. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts. As a consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
